Position Overview
Mount Anthony Country Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Golf Teaching Professional to lead and grow our Golf Instruction Program. This role offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available based on program growth. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in Ladies’ and Junior instructional programs while also supporting key tournaments and events at the club.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all instructional programs, including:
- Ladies’ Golf Programs (9-Hole League Clinics, Private & Group Instruction, Golf Schools)
- Junior Golf Programs & Summer Golf Camp
- Member & Adult Clinics
- Provide private and group golf instruction to members and guests.
- Support major club tournaments and benefit events throughout the season.
- Oversee and maintain practice facilities to ensure a clean, organized, and professional learning environment.
- Manage teaching aids and instructional equipment, ensuring they remain in top condition.
- Handle administrative duties related to the MACC Golf Instruction Program.
- Assist with pro shop operations, including opening and closing duties (minimum 15 hours per week).
- Act as a club ambassador, promoting the facility through community engagement and instructional programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- PGA/LPGA Class A Member or Associate working towards membership (Retired/Semi-Retired PGA professionals encouraged to apply).
- Minimum of 3 years of golf instruction experience, including club-fitting techniques.
- Strong teaching and coaching skills across all aspects of the game, preferably including simulator and video analysis experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with members and students easily.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a goal-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive compensation structure:
- 100% earnings from individual lessons.
- 50/50 revenue split for group clinics, golf camps, and instructional programs with other PGA/Teaching Professionals.
- Base salary starting at $700 , based on shop hours and tournament support (independent contractor basis).
