About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. As an integral part of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams with precision and accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in gross human and sectional anatomy, as well as knowledge of physiology, pathology, and pathophysiology. You will work closely with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to provide exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to department protocol
- Evaluate requisitions for appropriate history and clinical information
- Interact professionally and courteously with patients, co-workers, and medical staff
- Minimize patient exposure to acoustic energy

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate
- Effective communication skills in English
