Coordinator, Case Management
Position Purpose:
The Coordinator of Case Management manages reports that are necessary to the department, maintains records, maintains filing and department organization, provides administrative support, notifies insurance companies of admission/discharges daily, communicates payor needs to the case management staff, assists the department manager with staffing and timekeeping, coordinates meetings, manages vendors and ensuring compliance with the vendor policy and requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of a secretarial /Business school or demonstrates executive supportive skills
- Experience: Minimum of five years of secretarial experience
- Effective Communication Skills
- Highly organized and able to support all functions with minimal supervision
- Ability to problem solve, make decisions and maintain confidential information. Able to anticipate shifting priorities and make needed adjustments
- Ability to work effectively with members of Mount Carmel management
- Responds readily to changing priorities
- Demonstrates skills in a variety of office automation programs including but not limited to spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint, database administration, Outlook, type grammatically correct letters, minutes, memoranda and other items as requested
