What are the responsibilities and job description for the MPR, Medical Practice Representative / Front Desk position at Mount Carmel Health System?
Position Purpose:
- Medical Practice Representative serves as a primary contact/link between office and all outside parties. Performs duties such as scheduling appointments, entering patient demographics into system, filing and maintaining patient medical records
- Specialty: Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Location : 3000 Meadow Pond Court, Suite 400, Grove City, Ohio 43123
- Hours of office: Monday – Friday 8:00a – 4:30pm
What You Will Do:
- Welcome patients
- Register patients
- Gather insurance, check demographics
- Soft collections
- Referrals
- Answering incoming calls
- EPIC
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent
- Licensure / Certification: N/A
- Experience: One to two years of medical office experience preferred
- Experience answering multiline telephone system preferred
- Basic computer skills required
