About this Position
Mount Carmel Health System, one of the largest healthcare systems in central Ohio, is seeking a BE / BC Epilepsy Neurologist to join a collaborative team of neurologists. We are recruiting an epileptologist to join our growing Epilepsy program. The homebase will be on the Mt. Carmel East Campus located 15 minutes east of downtown Columbus.
The Mount Carmel Neuroscience Program is based on three Hospital Campuses around Columbus, OH. Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital is in Westerville, OH. Mount Carmel East Hospital is located just outside the beltway on the east side of Columbus, and our new facility, Mount Carmel Grove City, is 15 minutes south of downtown Columbus. Mount Carmel East Hospital is Level II Trauma and comprehensive stroke certified, and the other two campuses are acute stroke certified. All have acute stroke intervention capabilities.
We have an established acute epilepsy service which features a team of EEG technicians and neurohospitalists. Mount Carmel’s acute epilepsy service currently offers evaluation, testing and treatment, including medication, long-term monitoring, and vagus nerve stimulation.
