As a Senior Pharmacy Technician at Mt. Carmel Health System, you will be responsible for supporting our inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring timely and accurate medication provision to patients. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing intravenous admixtures, including chemotherapy, using aseptic technique in compliance with regulatory standards
* Assisting in inventory control by verifying and putting away orders each day
* Maintaining records according to departmental policies and state/federal law
* Performing technical duties related to orienting/training pharmacy technicians/interns
Qualifications:
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Active registration as a Certified Tech with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
- 1 year experience in hospital pharmacy with expertise in areas like IV room, ADC/Pyxis, or packaging
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations (ratios, proportions, etc.)

- Assist in filling orders/prescriptions
