Position Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports all talent acquisition and on-boarding activities requiring high touch service and compliance with the hiring process. Provides support to the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and internal and external applicants and associates, which includes sourcing, securing, developing and retaining talent for Mount Carmel in order to provide regional alignment in Talent Acquisition practices, processes, and procedures.

Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Position Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports all talent acquisition and on-boarding activities requiring high touch service and compliance with the hiring process. Provides support to the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and internal and external applicants and associates, which includes sourcing, securing, developing and retaining talent for Mount Carmel in order to provide regional alignment in Talent Acquisition practices, processes, and procedures.
- This is a hybrid position.
- Provides assistance with applicant tracking, assessment testing, pre-screening applicant and entry level recruitment.
- Schedules interview dates, and candidate travel logistics. Coordinates on boarding activities for new hires and supports new hire orientation.
- Coordinates Talent Acquisition events on-site or within the community; maintains event calendar and monitors ROI.
- May serve as a primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition marketing efforts, including: email campaigns, web/social media recruitment marketing, print mailings, etc.
- May resolve general issues related to Talent Acquisition processes and procedures and provide backup assistance to Talent Acquisition Generalist/Specialist.
- May directly handle or triage employee requests to Business Partners locally or to the Associate Resource Center.
- Assists associates, managers and the Talent Acquisition team with basic and moderately complex issues. Provides prompt solutions, highly responsive and superior customer service to all inquiries by referencing Ministry Organization policies and procedures to ensure accuracy of response.
- Demonstrates the ability to master and apply new information technology tools to assigned work; Word processing, HRIS software, PowerPoint, spreadsheets and databases.
- Collaborates with the Human Resource Service Center team members to resolve unique and complicated associate issues and to implement process and procedural improvements.
- Responsible for the uninterrupted workflow of the Talent Acquisition department and working within established service level agreements.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Effective communication skills
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition role with a minimum of two (2) years customer service experience in a high volume work environment.
- General knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practices, processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in utilizing human resource technology (i.e., HRIS, applicant tracking systems, etc). Experience using Workday highly preferred.
