What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN On Call Hospice Nurse position at Mount Carmel House?
Mount Carmel House is a two-bed comfort care home that provides individualized, compassionate care for the terminally ill.
We are in search of nurses (RN or LPN) to fill our on-call needs.
Job Duties:
- Utilize nursing judgement and critical thinking skills to provide guidance to staff/volunteers regarding resident care.
- Assist with end-of-life symptom management.
- Restock medications as needed.
- Cover open shifts/call offs when on-call.
- Be available for entirety of shift to take phone calls and/or travel to the house.
Must have valid LPN or RN license.
COVID vaccine is not required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: $140.00 per day
