Assistant Director of Nursing Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department
• Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care
• Assist with quality review and systems management for the nursing department
• Share “on call” responsibility with DNS and other nurse managers
Requirements
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license from the State of New Hampshire and be in good standing with the NH Board of Nursing
• Must have at least two years’ experience as a supervisor in a healthcare facility long-term care setting
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that pertain to long-term care
• Must be CPR/BCLS and IV certified
Salary : $2,400
