Machine Operator  - Chester, VT

1st Shift | 7am – 5pm | $17 HR

2nd Shift | 5pm – 3am | $19.50 HR

Summary:

Set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated machinery in the preparation and production of multiple food products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Prepare and verify equipment, tools and production materials are ready for use during each shift.

·       Operate automated production equipment in the preparation of products.

·       Collaborate and communicate regularly with other production staff to ensure efficiency, quality and safety.

·       Perform ongoing quality checks.

·       Adhere to, use, and encourage Good Manufacturing Practices.

·       Clean and sanitize equipment, tools and production room as needed. 

·       Adhere to safe work practices, following safety rules and regulations.

·       Complete and submit required documentation for department.

·       Ensure a neat/clean/safe work area.

·       Collaborate, communicate, and meet with managers for reporting. 

·       Responsible to ensure compliance with standards and requirements for food safety and quality programs.

·       Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Salary : $17 - $20
