What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-call Picker/Packer (occasional) position at Mount Family Group, LTD?
We are looking for people who are interested in being on-call to fill in when we have call outs or people on vacations. The first three weeks would be full time for training paid at the usual rate of $21.05, then going to $31.57 for the on-call position. Shifts are 12 hours, either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.
What Would You be Doing? Your job duties as a Sorter/Packer may include but are not limited to...
- Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines
- Inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
- Notifies Supervisor of quality issues as they arise.
- Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices, able to work safely in a fast paced environment.
How Much Will You be Getting Paid?
- $21.05 for the first 3 weeks.
- $31.57 after the three week training schedule is completed.
When Will You be Working?
- First week- Tuesday-Friday, 9am-6pm
- Second and third week- 6am-2pm
- After the three week training is completed- 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm depending on work site needs and your availability
Requirements!
- Steel-toed footwear.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
