Westaff is looking for a Sheetline Machine Operator in the Devens, MA area for Immediate Start!
Location: Devens, MA
Pay: $21.25
Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm :Be open to overtime – some 12hr. shifts and Saturday work are required
As a Sheetline Machine Operator, you will match load tags with units, measure and inspect all units for discrepancies, and continuously maintaining cleanliness of work areas and inspecting all units for quality.
Temp to Perm position!
Job Duties:
- Matching load tags with loads – ensuring dimensions and scores are correct
- Manually combining stacks of corrugation and strapping stacks together.
- Follow all customer instructions as printed on labels/workorders
- Continuously inspect board for defects
- Communicate with other employees via headset, discrepancies, or production issues.
- Use a computer to record scrap
- Work as part of a team
skills and abilities:
- Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills and must be able to read a tape measure.
- The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
- Enthusiasm for being an active part of a safety-first work environment.
- The ability to work overtime as requested.
