What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Process Operator (1st Shift) position at Mount Franklin Foods, LLC?
Essential functions:
- Feed the necessary raw material to semi-automated machines.
- Inspect production to ensure they meet requirements.
- Monitor industrial cooking machines and adjust the controls for devices such as boilers, ovens, and cookers.
- Program kitchen equipment to operate according to company and recipe standards and make changes to cooking temperature and time.
Requirements
- Basic math skills.
- Basic reading and writing skills (English).
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up at least 35 lbs.
- Ability to stoop, stool, twist and climb stairs for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
- Experience working in food production or in an industrial kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Previous machine operator experience, preferably food manufacturing.
- Problem solving skills.
