Mount Greylock Regional School, a highly ranked middle and high school for grades 7 through 12 located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, seeks to fill a 1.0 FTE middle school social studies teaching position opening for the 2025-2026 academic year. The department seeks to appoint a teacher in support of a dynamic and varied history and social science curriculum. The successful candidate will possess strong content knowledge in world history, geography and civics, and be an innovative educator with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational ability, and a passion and enthusiasm for working with adolescents. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching survey courses in World or US History according to the latest MA State Frameworks, as well as open to teaching a variety of history and social science electives. Mount Greylock is committed to making social studies an accessible and relevant subject to all students. Mount Greylock is situated in a new building (2018) outfitted with technology to support teaching and learning. The District provides both a competitive salary and benefits package. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required. 1-3 years of professional experience preferred.
Salary : $50,474 - $110,081
