Job Description :
This is a Level 2 position where all applicants are required to have at least one (1) semester of on-campus employment experience as a Level 1 or equivalent. This position requires students to continue in demonstrated responsibility, accountability, availability of the job and grow in technical and customer services skills (as needed). Successful applicants will be required to onboard and partake in mandatory training as they step into the position.
This position consists of mainly delivering and picking up computer hardware to and from end users of the Mt. Holyoke community (predominantly Faculty and Staff), including but not limited to :
Contacting, communicating with, and scheduling visits with Mt. Holyoke community end users (usually Faculty and Staff)
Performing computer de-installations
Wiping and removing computer drives
Updating inventory records as needed
Assisting in the maintenance of computer labs set-ups and / or updates of hardware and / or software
Imaging and prepping loan computers
Updating OS for Windows and Mac computers

REQUIREMENTS
Entry Level
At least one (1) semester of on campus employment experience as a Level 1 or equivalent.
Basic computer knowledge and troubleshooting skills is required.
Basic knowledge of MHC campus wireless connectivity, printing, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe applications is expected and required.
Ability to work individually AND together as a team
Able to follow and give instructions
This is an active position where you will be expected to assist and engage with all members of the MHC community.
Excellent and strong written and oral communications skills
Past evidence of work reliability and promptness
Desire to learn and improve skills (ie. self-instruction, cooperation, collaboration)
Able to lift at least 20 lbs
Able to move up and down building floors (via elevators or stairs)
Intermediate Level
Strong customer service ethic
Previous experience in this or similar position
Advance computer knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Additional software applications knowledge and experience
Team Leadership skills
Ability to multitask

100% reliability required!
Availability to work at least 6 hours per week, initially
Flexibility to work weekends
Availability to attend all provided training sessions (PAID!) without exception. Professional staff will work diligently to ensure that candidates will be able to complete training sessions
