Job Description:
The Film Media Theater Department at Mount Holyoke College seeks a one-year visiting assistant professor for a sabbatical replacement to teach five courses in film production and screenwriting.
The Film Media Theater Department at Mount Holyoke College seeks a one-year visiting assistant professor to teach five courses in film production and screenwriting with a focus on narrative storytelling beginning July 1, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate courses at both the foundational lower-division as well specialized, advanced seminars and workshops. Qualifications for the position include: an MFA or terminal degree (or ABD) in film/media with a background in film production. The successful candidate will be committed to working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, specifically who identify as first-generation, BIPOC, and/or LGBTQ.
