The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Mount Holyoke College invites applications for (3) two-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions in mathematics, with a possibility of renewal for an additional year, to begin July 1, 2025. Qualifications include a doctorate (completed or anticipated), and a commitment to working in a liberal arts environment.

We seek candidates who have demonstrated potential for strong teaching at the undergraduate level, and who will be successful in mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. Members of the department are active in both research and curriculum development, and resources are available to support conference travel and professional development. The teaching expectation is five courses per year, three in the fall semester and two in the spring.
