Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding the client's condition and needs.
- Document daily activities and any changes in the client's health or behavior.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care, particularly in home health settings or group homes.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring specialized care.
