About the Role:
As a Housekeeper / Custodian at Mount Laurel AH, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. Your main objective will be to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients, patients, and team members. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Additionally, you will be expected to handle waste disposal, restock supplies, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being of the facility and the satisfaction of all that we serve.

Physical Requirements This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time, as well as routine lifting. Must have physical strength, mobility, stamina, and must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly. Ability to use a step stool or ladder.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment, training provided!
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast paced setting.
- Knowledge of infection control and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment, such as buffers and carpet cleaners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as laundry services, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in common areas, including grounds, hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products, as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or equipment, to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to the hospital's Be EPIC core values.
- Work safely in accordance to hospital safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Keep grounds free of trash and dog waste.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
