What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional (IA) position at Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District?
Jericho Elementary School is seeking energetic and caring Paraprofessional to work with students in Grades K-4. The position is responsible for supporting students with regulating themselves, in classrooms and out. They are also responsible for working with the SEL team to help support students and teachers. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following:
- Love and care for all students.
- Believe that all students can learn at high levels.
- Exemplify the belief that positive relationships are the foundation for meaningful classroom experiences.
- Motivate and inspire students to take chances in learning and to try new things.
- Design and promote learning experiences that celebrate diversity and individual strengths.
- Demonstrate proactive, trauma-informed classroom management strategies.
- Have knowledge of and experience with implementing mindfulness strategies.
- Nurture and promote self-discovery, respect, cooperation, and growth mindset in students.
- Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues. Use of data and evidence to help promote student success.
