The ideal Computer Science candidate will teach Computer Science, Web and App Design, Gaming Design, and Cybersecurity while integrating faith-based principles into a hands-on, real-world curriculum. This educator will inspire students through engaging, interactive lessons emphasizing problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation. The teacher will foster a supportive learning environment that nurtures students’ technical skills, creativity, and ethical responsibility in technology. Candidates should have a strong background in computer science and digital design, a commitment to Christian education, and a desire to mentor students in both their academic and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities :
- Creates a classroom environment that fosters a desire to learn and develops a culture of excellence.
- Develops lesson plans based on MPCS curriculum guidelines.
- Works cooperatively with MPCS Instructional Coaches to learn feedback and continuously improve quality of instruction.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and / or school functions.
- Maintains overall professionalism adhering to the MPCS guidelines.
- Supports the value of an education founded in Christian values.
- Supports the philosophy and mission of Mount Pisgah Christian School.
