Dietary Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and appealing meals while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and food production, ensuring all meals meet dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Serve meals to residents, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.
• Buss tables and clean dining areas promptly after meals, maintaining a tidy environment for residents.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after meal service.
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and address any resident needs or concerns.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation and service within designated timelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
• A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in all aspects of food preparation and service.
