Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes, placing orders as necessary.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
- Collaborate with food service staff to ensure timely delivery of drinks alongside meals.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale technology.
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending role or food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being proactive in assisting guests.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards is essential.
