Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Para Educator Supervisor will work closely with the Education Team to ensure the safety and well-being of the students while participating in the education program. The Paraeducator Supervisor functions as part of the academic and treatment team and is responsible for assisting the educators and providing supervision of students and Para Educators while in school. The position will provide supported instruction and assessment to students as outlined/assigned by the teacher in support of the assigned academic coursework or Individual Education Plan (IEP) needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee all assigned Para Educators
- Manage day to day assignments of Para Educators based on student and school need, with and without input from clinical and administration
- Provide daily relief and/ or additional support to Para Educators
- Provide biweekly supervision to all Para Educators, supporting with career goals and school programs
- Oversight of timely completion and quality of DAP notes, incident reports and AOD reports
- Assist administration with Para Educator evaluations and annual reviews
- Coordinate with administration on the need of additional supports for Para Educators
- Assist and train new staff
- Attend all staff meetings and IEP meetings as assigned
- Always uphold clear and professional boundaries
- Support Para Educator with their client and teach behavioral management skills while following the treatment plan closely
- Support the emotional wellbeing of peers and students
- Complete daily case notes as needed
- Follow mandated reporter requirements for abuse and neglect of any client and others
- Assist with onboarding new staff
- Assist with behavioral interventions within the classroom as needed modeling and using ARC principles.
- Always maintain students' confidentiality and report all pertinent information to supervisor.
- Pursue appropriate channels of communication.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 21 years and older
- Associate's degree or Higher preferred, High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Prefer two years' experience interacting with children/youth. This may include, but is not restricted to camp counselor, coach, babysitting
