JOB SUMMARY:
Utilize and implement evidenced based interventions and strategies, as identified in treatment plan, to effect change in served individual’s behaviors in their home environment, or in some circumstances, in their community. As well as to train and support Caregivers/ Providers on implementation of strategies and interventions for independent implementation of treatment plan supports and interventions. Continuously collect and upload data for analyzing by supervisors. Participate in collecting baseline data, treatment plan meetings, monthly reviews, as well as weekly clinical supervision (and monthly administrative supervision). Continuous collaboration with treatment team members, as well as provide service coordination as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide direct services and supports as identified in individualized treatment plan and behavior change plans. Ongoing data collection of maladaptive behaviors as well as data related to goals and objectives. Maintain data collection accuracy and bring to supervisions.
- Provide training of effective strategies and interventions to caregivers and other members of individuals treatment team; including service providers, as applicable. To provide service coordination activities such as referrals, collaboration with school supports and communicate with LBA when school request further training in identified strategies and interventions.
- Engage in ongoing evaluation of clinical practice and of services rendered to consumers, through keeping data collected organized and graphed, as appropriate. Analyze data with supervisor weekly and at monthly meetings with individual and caregivers; to provide outcome measures of progress where possible.
- Provide evidenced based services in the supported individual's home, school or other community setting as appropriate. To meet 80% billable hours per week (30 hours per a 37.5 hours work week) of hours worked for no less than 80% the fiscal year worked. These are provided in writing to each employee and individualized to account for other duties performed consistently throughout the year.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Mount Rogers CSB, Licensure, Medicaid/Medicare, and other regulatory bodies; keep records up-to-date and adhere to confidentiality of consumer information.
- Actively participate in meetings such as clinical and administrative supervision, business meetings, and committees as assigned; utilizes these meetings for active problem solving and to enhance a team approach to decision making. Keep mandatory trainings up-to-date.
- Provide consultation and educational services with Mount Rogers CSB and with other agencies or organizations.
OTHER DUTIES:
- May provide consult services as applicable and assigned by supervisor (Waiver or School based).
- Will complete other job related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge of Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Applied Behavior Analysis, and some knowledge of mental disorders and substance abuse
- Skills and experience in training others, and modifying trainings and supports to meet others needs.
- Oral and written communication skills
- Where applicable, knowledge of the ID/DD Waiver System and Services
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Minimum education of a High School Diploma.
Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other intellectual or developmental delays.
Preferred Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT ©), or willingness to obtain certification.
