Overview:
Mount Royal Pines III is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistants to join our team. As a Casual Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a senior care community focused on promoting engagement, activity, and overall well-being.

Must have the ability to pick all shifts as this position is used to fill PTO requests and call ins. Required to pick-up one shift a pay period if available.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care services according to each resident's individual care plan, encompassing tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal assistance, toileting, positioning, and mobility support.
- Administer delegated nursing services outlined in the care plans, including medication assistance.
- Perform household tasks outlined in the daily schedule and service plan, such as cleaning common areas and assisting with resident laundry.
- Offer psychosocial support through daily interactions, engagement in recreational activities, and genuine concern for residents' emotional welfare.
- Be prepared to handle emergency situations promptly and effectively, including responding to emergency calls from residents and addressing unforeseen incidents.
Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with long-term care settings, retirement homes, memory care units, personal care homes, nursing homes, or group homes.
- Proficiency in first aid procedures and protocols.
- Ability to operate lifting systems safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of resident rights and a commitment to upholding them in all interactions.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with residents.
