Director / Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Program
Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles, invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, Contractually Limited Term (CLT) position as the inaugural Program Director for the Physician Assistant program. We are in the process of applying for accreditation with ARC-PA and the Director will be leading this effort. This position is partially funded by a Title V DHSI grant to develop new graduate programs and build upon existing programs in the Health Sciences.
Position Annual Hiring Salary Range : $120,000 - $125,000
Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate's qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Responsibilities
Initial responsibilities will include :
- completion of self-study documents to ensure a successful provisional accreditation
- reviewing and modifying the existing curriculum as appropriate to meet the accreditation standards
- collaborating with the medical director to identify and develop agreements with clinical education sites
- developing the program handbook
