Mount St. Michael Academy, an all-boys college prep school, seeks a LEAVE PLACEMENT MATH TEACHER, extending from February 10 through May 18, 2025.
The candidate will teach Pre-algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II/Trig.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Through knowledge of the content of the above-mentioned courses;
ability to relate with an all-male adolescent population;
ability to work collaboratively, and cooperatively with colleagues and administrators;
a well-developed sense of organization;
good classroom management skills;
willingness to reach out to parents and guardians when necessary;
excellent technological skills;
a desire to participate in the extra-curricular life of the school.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree. Previous teaching experience is a plus. However, graduate students whose schedule would permit a full-time position are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Full-time until June 30, 2025
Annual Salary: Per diem $250 - $300 per day.
