Clinical Nurse position in PACU at Mount Sinai Health System
Provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research
Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team
Educates patients and caregivers about their plan of care
Implements process improvement strategies based on evidence-based practices
Job Requirements
NYS RN License
BLS certification
ACLS certification
2 years of post-op management / medicated drips experience
Minimum 2 years RN experience
1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
EPIC experience highly preferred
Schedule Information
4x10 or 5x8 schedule with on-call required
Unit Specific Information
Avg Unit Census = 6
6 Beds in Unit
Staffing Guidelines 1 : 1-2
Additional Details
Performs charge nurse duties as assigned
Coordinates with Clinical Coordinator / Clinical Nurse Manager
Documents in compliance with hospital, regulatory and legal requirements
