Job Title : Clinical Nurse

Shift : Night Shift, 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM, Every Other Weekend required
Guaranteed Hours : 34.5 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
License : Registered Nurse License
Certifications :
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Must-Have : EPIC experience preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or an Associate Degree with relevant experience and / or active enrollment in a BSN Program
Job Description :
Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care through the application of the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practices.Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills in patient care management.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.Prioritize all aspects of patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, planning after hospital care, and delegating as appropriate.Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, health promotion, and disease prevention while anticipating needs and readiness to learn.Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family members, and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing and demonstrate effective allocation of material resources.Role model practices to enhance patient experience, including admission welcome, bedside shift report, and purposeful hourly rounding.Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying and escalating potential safety hazards or gaps from best practice.Demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge crucial to quality and safety for the patient population served.Engage in process improvement strategies and quality enhancement initiatives.Perform charge nurse duties as assigned, ensuring efficient coordination and utilization of supplies and staffing.Document nursing practice accurately and thoroughly in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.Contribute to a supportive environment for clinical colleagues, patients, and their families.Advance clinical competence and project a professional image while communicating with caring, respect, and empathy.Encourage a spirit of scholarship, inquiry, and life-long learning for self and others.Participate in shared decision-making through specialty practice councils, nursing department committees, and unit initiatives.Client Details
