Description

The Management Analyst II provides analytical and project management/decision support, utilizing a wide range of state of the art performance improvement methodologies across all administrative and operational functions. Takes a lead role in gathering and preparing data from business and organizational systems to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities

1. Takes a lead role in gathering, preparing, and reconciling basic to moderately complex organizational data and information. Provides accurate information to management for review, analysis and decision making.

2. Prepares monthly or quarterly reports and presentations as required.

3. Advances the organizations ability to meet and exceed key strategic initiatives.

4. Updates monthly metrics and reports trends.

5. Assists in the preparation of feasibility studies and business plans of moderate complexity to support new business developments.

6. Documents current operations and provides recommendations on new procedures and methods for management.

7. Prepares documents and diagrams to illustrate and describe operations, and presents findings and recommendations.

8. Assists in the preparation of moderately complex Market Research and Analyses, Demand and Supply Analyses, and Demographic Studies to inform and support senior leaderships decision making related to specific initiatives.

9. May track research grants, and prepare Research Density and Grants Analysis several times a year.

10. May monitor project timelines and budgets.

11. May provide informal training for less experienced Business Analysts.

12. Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required;
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 3 years (higher preferred) related experience required

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62571 - $89843 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
