Job Description

Dietary Cashier-Mount Sinai Hospital

Collects cash payments for meals served in cafeteria; totals and deposits receipts; performs related duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Picks up cashier box containing the employee's bank in presence of Accounting Clerk, and both sign slip verifying the amount.
  • Obtains numbered receipt tickets and signs in same to verify the starting number.
  • Counts, records, and deposits cash receipts after heavy traffic periods. Prepares daily income forms.
  • Prepares the daily menu board.
  • Reports incidents and customer comments to Supervisor.
  • Performs related duties.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • 0-1 year relevant experience
  • Collective bargaining unit : SEIU 1199-MSH
