Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a project lead to oversee the execution of an existing lymphoproliferative disorders– this involves meeting milestones, troubleshooting, working with physician lead, physician extenders, research staff, and industry or academic-sponsors of trials, etc.
- Establish an IRB-approved registry to best track patients participating in clinical trials and research initiatives.
- Co-author manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed scientific journals using available resources. Help develop concepts into protocols.
- Assist in manuscript preparation and abstract presentation that will be presented at national and international meetings from current initiatives and clinical trial findings.
- Help develop concepts into protocols to formulate best practice implementations.
- Establish an educational outreach platform working with local healthcare providers and community organizations to increase awareness about the research initiatives and clinical trial studies currently available.
- Participate in tumor boards, travel / attend relevant conferences, and attend research meetings and service line meetings as directed by physician lead.
- Along with the CRC assigned to the protocols, helps with the input of data entry for the tissue registry.
