The Assistant to the Nurse Manager provides secretarial support to the Nurse Manager. Supports and facilitates smooth functioning and efficiency of the clinical department.
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- Ability to read and write well enough to draft, edit, type and proofread correspondences, reports, forms, etc.
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Ability to function independently.
- Written and oral communication skills, telephone and interpersonal skills, organizational abilities.
- Ability to operate the following equipment: Computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photocopy Machine, Fax Machine, Telephone.
- Other Standard Office Equipment, i.e. scanner, laminator, and label maker.
