Under of the direction of the computer coordinator, the computer clerk is responsible for the requisition of all laboratory test orders and relaying accurate test results to hospital personnel as well as physician offices. Assists the central processing clerk as directed.
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- No experience necessary but must train under the direction of the Computer Coordinator or experienced computer clerk.
License/Certifications
Working Conditions
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- May sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Exposure to biohazardous materials.
