Position Summary
Summary:
The Laboratory Manager is accountable and responsible for all administrative and technical functions of the Blood Bank. The Laboratory Manager plans, develops, and directs policies and procedures that are designed to maintain the Blood Bank's objective of responding to patient needs in a timely manner. This is done in concert with the Medical Director. Together they see that these policies and procedures are properly implemented. The Laboratory Manager is responsible for all duties and projects assigned and approved by the Medical Director.

- Must complete in-house orientation program
- B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related field
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- 10 years experience of Blood Bank experience
- Basic to Intermediate Level of knowledge in computer ie. MS Word
License/Certifications
- NYS Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
