The Monitor Technician is a member of the Nursing Department who performs technical support regarding the cardiac monitoring system.
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Monitor Tech orientation.
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Minimum of 6 months monitoring experience (Hospital, clinic, office setting) preferred or 6 months of healthcare setting experience
License/Certifications
Working Conditions
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- Frequent, prolonged standing/walking, lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.
- Protective clothing worn: face shields, gloves, impermeable gown, and particulate respirator.
