Under the direction of the Staffing Office Nurse Manager, the Phlebotomist obtains blood specimens and assists in other tasks as needed.

- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Completion of a phlebotomy course.
- No previous experience required but must train at MSSN under supervisor, demonstrate technical competency and pass a written proficiency test prior to drawing without supervision.
- Requires manual dexterity.
- Possess good communication skills.
