We are currently seeking a part-time experienced Radiology Supervisor to provide strategic direction as you maintain the scheduling and proper flow in all areas of the Radiology Dept (MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Diagnostic Radiology). Along with our team of expert imaging technologists, we are committed to diagnosing illnesses and injuries quickly and effectively so treatment and recovery can begin. You will evaluate radiologic technologists to ensure optimal patient care as well as develop and implement radiology department policies and procedures. In addition, you will also lead regular quality assurance tests on all radiology equipment and collaborate with medical and administrative staff. The Radiology Supervisor role will work to fix bottleneck issues and mitigate risks on advanced procedures. You will be supported by some of the most high-end technology to promote health, comfort, and efficiency within the department. This modern unit will improve process procedures for the Radiology Supervisor to ensure their job is executed with ease.
We require:
- Completion of in-house orientation program
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology school
- NYS Radiologic Technology licensure essential; ARRT preferred
- 3 years’ experience as a radiological technologist; Bachelor’s preferred., OR 1 year experience as a lead tech or supervisor or a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a senior Radiologic Technologist
- Computer literacy a must along with familiarity with PACS, RIS etc.
- Proven leadership potential and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
