Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester.
Purpose: This position exists to support grant and development efforts facilitated by the Center for IT Engagement (cITe).
- Facilitate Group Level Assessment sessions with stakeholders (students, faculty, staff, community members, grant partners etc).
- Participate in focus groups to ensure the platform developed is grounded in student voices and their needs.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Assist with building specifications and design for technology platforms.
- Guide the development process giving feedback throughout all deployed technology platform iterations.
- Conduct user acceptance testing.
- Gather research materials for research and publication efforts.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in the cITe Scholar Program at Mount St. Joseph University beginning on or before Fall 2023
- Has the ability to work autonomously, and to deadlines
- Well-organized, punctual, and reliable
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required
- Works efficiently and effectively with others in a team-based environment
- Works creatively under the pressure of deadlines
- Has the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with others
- Open availability and willingness to work all shifts (early mornings, evenings, and weekends) including breaks preferred
- Maintain positive interactions with employees, students, or other individuals on campus as well as other collaborating partners
- Technical aptitude to learn operation and support of media, computer equipment, and software
