Status: Faculty, Exempt

Purpose: Housed within the School of Health Sciences, the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences offers a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. The department is devoted to developing future professionals with a commitment to meeting the needs of their clients, communities, and professions through personal and professional excellence. This role focuses on clinical supervision of graduate students and, depending on the applicant’s history, may also involve teaching undergraduate and/or graduate coursework. Applicants should have experience with a broad range of clinical disorders. |

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology licensure (Ohio license must be obtained by start date or August 18, whichever is first)
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program and the university
- Experience with evidence-based service delivery in speech-language pathology
- Experience with interprofessional teams
- Meet the criteria for an ASHA-approved clinical supervisor
- Minimum 3 years clinical supervision experience with speech-language pathology graduate students (preferred) and/or clinical fellows
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and effective problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience across the lifespan
- Proficiency with Calipso
