Packing Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack products into boxes or containers according to specifications.
• Inspect items for quality assurance before packing to ensure they meet company standards.
• Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking packed items and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials.
• Ability to operate a wrapping machine.
• Responsible for unloading and loading freight.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in packing, warehousing, or manufacturing is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
• Forklift experience is a must.
