The University is seeking On-Call Bus Drivers for its Motor Pool/Facilities Office on the Mount Vernon main campus. The position reports to the Motor Pool Coordinator and is available immediately, upon appointment of a successful candidate. Bus Drivers transport students safely to campus activities and athletic events on the University bus. Most trips are during the week, driving 3-5 hours each way and returning the same day, but employees may be called on the weekends or for overnights.
Expectations for the successful candidate:
- High School Diploma
- Evangelical Christian confession of faith
- Copy of a physical showing the candidate is approved to drive
- Clean driving record with the ability to pass MVNU’s MVR check
- Requires CDL A, or CDL B, with a Passenger endorsement
- Ability to lift 50lbs
