Property Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on residential properties, including painting and electrical work.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues related to facilities maintenance.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks effectively.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Lead projects related to facility improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Skills

• Proficiency in residential painting techniques.
• Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues.
• Excellent command of communication.
• Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventative measures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent in unit turns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
