Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid HHA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with medication management
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with medication management as directed by nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Skills:
As an HHA, you will utilize your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our residents and their families.
