POSITION PURPOSE:
The Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions is responsible for the development and management of MACs merger and acquisitions sector by generating and maintaining an assigned portion of the companys revenue through sales, service, administration and teamwork activities, while growing personally and professionally to contribute to the future wellbeing of the company and the individuals who work there.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Consultative Relationships: Establish internal and external customer relationships, with our employees, 14 CFR 119 delegates and potential new clients. Continue to reach or exceed assigned project goals.
- Project Management: Manage projects related to the introduction of new aircraft into our company fleet, including other documents and informational databases and provide detailed handoff information to the project management team.
- Teamwork: Provide information and support to fellow employees, customers contractors according to the account specifics and company requirements.
- Communication: Encourage and develop enthusiasm towards project communication within the administration of the project. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with prospects, customers, vendors, and the internal team.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Coordinate growth opportunities between business units and potential acquisitions.
- Review new customer opportunities to include financial, assets and contractual reviews.
- Travel to meet with customers, clients, potential partners face-to-face or over Teleconference.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers, clients, and potential partners.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the industry.
- Attending company directed conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Build strategic partnerships to further our company growth.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO/President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; or credited industry experience.
- 10 years experience in mergers and acquisitions in the aviation field
- 5 years' management experience in aircraft or airline management
- Experience in Project Management Aviation related
- Strategic thinker - able to see the bigger picture
- Dynamic, articulate, and well-spoken
- Have a concise understanding of 14 CFR regulations, Aircraft operations, FAA, technical manuals and writing.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty, all in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time
- Ability to travel to offsite locations.
- Must be available by phone during off duty hours.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Project Manager over assigned teams.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work typically performed in an office environment. However, due to work requirements, may require frequent travel which will involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures and other similar hazards.
