Diamond Concessions is a food service company that specializes in concessions and catering for minor league sports and outdoor amphitheaters across the United States. Diamond Concessions currently services 9 minor league teams who have a shared focus in providing great customer service and the highest quality product for our partners and patrons.
We are currently seeking an experienced Bartender to assist in the food and beverage operation in Idaho Falls, Idaho at Mountain America Center. The Spud Kings junior league hockey team will play in a new state of the art hockey arena that seats over 5000 guests including 12 private suites, 16 loge suites, and 5 concession stands and the Blue Cross Conference Center, a state of the art conference space.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest requests.
- Set up and break down the bar area before and after events.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Handle card transactions accurately, if required.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service policies.
- Manage bar inventory and report any shortages or issues to the Manager.
- Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
- Must be present, attentive and responsive.
- Responsible for prep and clean-up duties during the set up and closing of the Arena.
- Must work closely with the bars and floor team to ensure overall smooth operation.
- Daily basic cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- To be punctual with an exceptional appearance in full uniform and appropriate footwear.
- Work closely, assist and communicate with your supervisor listening and understanding instruction paying attention to what is happening around you.
- Must be available to answer questions, queries and deal with customer issues effectively, ensuring the client’s needs are met throughout the whole of their visit, seeking guidance from floor staff and supervisors when necessary.
- Stand and walk for an entire shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. via food or beverage trays or required equipment needed to perform specific job duties.
- Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe.
