Title: Production Manager
Department: Operations Department
Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt
Immediate Supervisor: Operations Manager
General Statement of Duties:
This position shall oversee the team meeting the production needs of events. This part time position is largely on an as needed, by event basis. Duties include operating and caring for audio and visual equipment, interfacing house assets with outside equipment, staffing, safety compliance, as well as the items listed below.
Areas of Responsibilities:
1. Wear nametag and/or proper event credentials, adhere to dress code, and abide by code of conduct as set forth in employee handbook and as dictated by Management.
2. Follow and ensure others are following laws and regulations set forth by governmental agencies (OSHA), as well as best practices set forth by Management.
3. Obtain and keep current all applicable licenses and certifications to operate equipment.
4. Maintain positive relationships with coworkers, vendors, tenants, touring staff, and other facility user groups.
5. Communicate accurate and up to date information to Management to be recorded in the facility’s maintenance and repair
logs. Management will give authorization for repairs needing outside assistance or parts, or will oversee the repair directly.
6. Responsible for executing the production needs of events, such as assisting clients in interfacing with house assets, maintaining quality sound presentation, programming and running video boards, and all other aspects of the production.
7. Responsible for the safe and efficient use of facility assets, including AV equipment, cables, wall ports, and outsourced equipment. This includes instructing Production Team on proper use and care of equipment.
8. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized control room, IT rooms, and other areas utilized by the Production Team. This includes the proper storage of equipment.
9. Maintain a qualified Production Team to operate all house assets, such as cameras, sound, and video. All hirings are to be done in coordination with Human Resources and adhere to policies set forth by Centennial Management.
10. Schedule and lead Production Team to achieve objectives in a timely and efficient manner while meeting a defined budget. This includes all aspects of the production, from setup, through execution, to closedown.
11. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of current management policies and procedures in a similar facility environment. Must be able to read blue prints, schematics, and room layouts. Must be able to regularly lift 40 pounds, kneel, stoop, climb ladders. Must be 18 years of age or older due to nature of the job.
