Job Profile Summary
The Member Service Intern, under direct supervision, will assist the Member Service team with our one goal – an exceptional member experience! Our outstanding culture and specific focus on leadership development makes Mountain America one of the “Best Places” to work. During this internship experience, you will have the opportunity to work on special projects, including defining staffing models for our branch network, building change management and communication plans for a large lobby management system rollout, and analyzing branch profitability. Reports directly under the supervision of the VP of Member Service.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully directly under the supervision of the VP of Member Service.
Organizational Effectiveness
Assist VP of Member Service with new lobby management system rollout, including change management and communication planning.
Conduct focus groups with different branch teams on effectiveness of lobby management system.
Research industry best practices for branch operations and present findings to senior branch leadership.
Analyze data and review organization financials to determine profitability of the branches.
Make recommendations on goal structure for branch team members.
Shadow Branch Leaders in branch operations.
Team Member Development
Perform needs analyses and review resources to ensure learning and development plans exist or are developed to support learning needs based upon culture, competencies, organizational strategy, and company goals.
May also assist in reviewing employee engagement data to make recommendations on improving culture within specific teams.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And ABILITIES

Education & Experience
Current undergraduate in Junior or Senior year, enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business Management or Administration, or related field, and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Other Skills And Abilities
Basic working knowledge of or interest in financial statements, credit, lending and underwriting processes and principles
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills (written and verbal)
Must be creative, innovative and a self-starter with a positive, upbeat attitude
Ability to work effectively with people
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail oriented with analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Perform and interpret needs analyses and translate the findings into actionable plans.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally
