What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courtesy Patrol Volunteer position at Mountain Capital Partners?
(Volunteer Position, starting December 2025) Courtesy Patrol will be of assistance to Guests, and Ski Patrol at Arizona Snowbowl. Courtesy Patrollers will be able to provide directions, answer questions, and generally offer help in accordance with Snowbowl policies and procedures. They will also engage in educating our guests regarding the rules of the mountain, the Responsibility Code. This position includes outdoor and indoor time during each shift. Must be able to commit to 5 or more 5 hour shifts per month.
- Ability to work outside in potentially harsh conditions.
- Courtesy Patroller must have proper attire to safely and effectively navigate and stay warm in snowy conditions, these include but are not limited to; Ski or snowboard equipment, warm winter jacket, gloves, hat, waterproof or resistant pants.
- Knowledge of all Arizona Snowbowl facilities and services.
- Assist Patrol in providing a safe ski/ride environment.
- Effective communication skills. Well refined customer service skills while interacting with diverse guests and their needs. This includes the ability to greet every guest with a smile and answer their questions accurately and courteously.
- Must have good observational and awareness skills.
- Familiarity and compliance with the Arizona Snowbowl Employee Handbook.
- Must have strong intermediate ski/riding skills.
- Learn Radio protocols and procedures.
- Must be able to commit to 5 or more 5 hour shifts per month.
